Prime & Tan Duo
The Ultimate Duo for a Flawless, Radiant Tan
FAQ
The active ingredient in self-tanner is called Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a sugar molecule derived from sugar beets. DHA reacts with the amino acids (proteins) in the outermost layer of the skin (the stratum corneum), which consists of dead skin cells. Since the formula only adheres to dead skin cells, you don’t want too many or too few of them. That’s why we recommend exfoliating 24 hours before applying self-tanner for the best results.
Our Exfoliating Pads are mild and gentle on the skin and should be used 2-3 times a week for optimal results.
Start with a small amount to see how far the formula goes for your specific needs and refill as needed. Make sure to use up the formula in the container during each application.
The result typically lasts about 5 days up to a week, depending on your skincare routine and the number of layers applied.
